Had a buddy text and say the neighbors cattle were going nuts and could hear coyotes. We packed up and slipped out. Within seconds we have a double on the caller. Spooked we salvage one. #55

Finishing up with a quick stand as wind, rain, and fog is moving in we hit this property where we heard dogs when calling on a property across the street. Immediately we hear this male answer us. But it sounded like he was getting further away. We turned up the heat and got him all fired up and he couldn’t help but make the trip to the dog pound where John and I ventilated him.

Side note! Dog #55 since July 1st 2021
Man all I can say is full moon hunting is tough. We pushed through and ended the night with one more for the books. What looked like a smashed face shot ended up an unrecovered job. Anyway the recovered pics and videos as well as the unrecovered. First dog down with the 6mm ARC. Note: This is coyote 54. #53 is a black coyote taken by Rory and waiting for pics and videos for the page.
Quick set and one down!
Setting up on this beautiful farm with fog rolling in, we had high hopes. Fog was quickly working its way down the river but our thermals were cutting it quite nicely as we reached close to 30 minutes. We spotted two coyotes running hard to our caller in another field. They had to cross a creek and a minute later this lady pops out in the field. Closing on the call the guys were ready to end the hunt. A little howl and she stops, the count, and full send from 3 rifles puts this deer and rabbit killer down for good. This one is special for some personal reasons and glad we could help the owner out. We will let it cool and be back again to clean up more in the near future. Thank you for the opportunity. 🙏❤️
3 dogs down, 2 recovered!
Headed to a new property that needed some of our love. About 25 minutes in the first one rolls in, my shot gets deflected off tall grass. We step up the calling and 2 more come in. Two go down quick. One more slips in behind them slips in and John makes a good shot but it manages to spin itself down into some thick stuff. Two recovered and here’s the video. Excellent shooting by John Sagal of Savage Mountain Firearms and Rory McCarty of Bug Boys Pest Control. Get sum!
Neighbors in need!
Last minute call from our neighbor for report of coyotes on their camera. Shawn and I slipped in late after everyone was in bed and setup. 10 minutes later a big male comes trotting in. One down and we stepped up the pressure with more vocals and distress. In comes number two and he gets planted. Happy property owner. More to come here for sure. This is the 4th that I can remember down on this property.
Triple down!
These are going to be posted a little out of order. I got the count messed up for September. We ended with 17. I think this is #45, #46, and #47. And #1, #2, and #3 for October. Need to clean up my shooting but happy with the results. The property owner is happy. These came right by her horses and 5 from the property in 2 months. Enjoy!
More catching up to do!
Have ssome more coyotes down and apparently my adding is off. Somewhere I’m short 2 coyotes and have 5 to post today. Our tally should be 47 since July 1st. Have a triple in the books from early this morning. Stay tuned!

Quick stand for #14 for September
Coyote #14 for September. Received a call from a farmer. Heard coyotes in his field and been losing farm animals. We got there as soon as possible. Some pup fights brought this angry male in. His farm animals and pets are a little bit safer. Rory and Shaw on the long guns.
